Parcelyst (“we”, “us”) provides a SaaS service for businesses. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK data protection law.

We primarily operate in the UK, but some of our service providers may process data outside the UK (see “International transfers”).
2.Personal data we collect
Account & authentication
- Email address
- Password (where you use email/password login)
- Authentication identifiers and basic profile info from social login providers (e.g., name/email as provided), when you sign in via Google or Discord
Payments
- Billing/customer identifiers and payment status from Stripe
- We do not store your full card details; those are handled by Stripe.
Integrations (if you connect them)
Connection metadata and encrypted tokens needed to access your connected accounts. For Google Sheets, access is limited to files you explicitly choose in the app or files Parcelyst creates for you. Data you choose to sync to/from:
- Google Drive
- Google Sheets
- Airtable
Service communications
- Emails you send us (support/requests)
- Service emails we send you (account, billing, security)
AI features (if used in-app)
Content you submit to AI features may be sent to OpenRouter to generate responses.
What we don't intentionally collect
No special category (“sensitive”) data is intended to be collected.
3.How we use your data
- Provide and operate the service (accounts, authentication, integrations, syncing)
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Send essential service communications (e.g., verification, billing, security)
- Run background jobs and automations you trigger (via Trigger.dev)
- Improve reliability and security (e.g., backups, abuse prevention)
4.Legal bases (UK GDPR)
We process personal data under:
- Contract: to provide the service you sign up for
- Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, and improve the service (only where your rights don't override these interests)
- Legal obligation: where required (e.g., financial records)
- Consent: where you choose to connect integrations and authorise access (you can revoke access via the integration provider or by disconnecting in the app)
5.Who we share data with (processors)
We use service providers to run Parcelyst. These providers process data on our instructions:
We don't sell your data and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing.
6.Analytics and tracking
We currently do not use tracking/marketing analytics. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy before (or at the time) it's introduced.
7.International transfers
Even if we operate in the UK, some providers may process data in other countries. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as contractual protections) as required by UK data protection law.
8.Data retention
- We keep account and service data while your account is active.
- Because we offer a free tier, we may retain data until you request deletion.
- If you request deletion, we'll delete or anonymise personal data unless we need to keep certain records for legal, tax, or security purposes.
9.Security
We use measures designed to protect your data, including:
- Application-layer encryption for integration tokens before they are stored
- Access controls
- Backups and recovery processes
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
10.Your rights (UK)
You can request:
- Access to your personal data
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your data
- Restriction or objection to certain processing
- Data portability (where applicable)
